H. Pylori Bacteria and Candida | Candida's Effect on the Immune System

I have issues with ulcers and candida and would like to find a natural remedy to get rid of it once and for all. How can I truly once and for all be rid these bacterium?

To deal with candida: probiotics and caprylic acid are the best remedies. Some herbs are also helpful and will sometimes be included in a combination product with the caprylic acid. Your local Health Food Store should have these items. Also, sugars, starchy foods should be eliminated for awhile until the body has a chance to balance out.

Dealing with ulcers/h pylori: You may have to do some research on this but I do know that taking a natural antacid supplement followed a few minutes later with colloidal silver or silver sol have been helpful in eliminating this bacteria. In order for the bacteria to be properly addressed the stomach acid must be reduced or neutralized briefly. Grapefruit seed extract can also be helpful.

Unhealthy acids in the stomach are caused by fermentation. This type of acid causes problems and interferes with our natural flora. Fermentation can be addressed by correcting a few eating habits:

  1. Avoid eating late at night. Your last meal must be 4 to 4 ½ hours before bedtime.

  2. Avoid snacking between meals (drink water instead of snacking).

  3. Avoid eating fruit and vegetables at the same meal (causes fermentation).

  4. Avoid drinking liquids with meals (interferes with digestion - if you are thirsty during your meal, you didn’t drink enough water between your meals).

  5. Avoid overeating.

  6. Try to be calm and relaxed while eating

  7. Chew your food well.

Stomach acid (hydrochloric acid) is necessary for digestion, but I would avoid foods that lower the stomach acid pH (make it more acidic) in order to be digested, such as meat, dairy and eggs, and eat alkaline forming foods:

Candida (yeast) and its effects on the immune system

As far as I know candida does not play a role in insulin dependent diabetes. The evidence seems to point here to the protein casein in the dairy products.

Candida is a fungus and these fungi and bacteria live in a dynamic balance within our system. If bacteria are depressed, either by antibiotics or by acid diet devoid of unrefined carbohydrates then Candida gets the upper hand.

People say that one should go on a high protein diet to combat Candida, but this has proofed to be a fallacy because the high protein diet depresses the natural bacteria and although temporarily inhibiting Candida eventually gives it the upper hand. The way to combat Candida is to eat a diet high in natural unrefined carbohydrates ( plenty of fruits, vegetables, whole grains) This keeps the bacteria happy, restores the balance, and gives Candida no chance for supremacy.

Hope this helps.
